  • Leaving powerful materials in the hands of each participant so when a real world challenge pops up two months after the training, participants have a ready reference with the answers they need right at their fingertips
  • Posting a page on her website after each keynote or workshop to follow up with learning issues
  • Finding the humor in some of our most taxing situations

And These Topics Are Available From Sally’s Life Experience:

The Depressed Optimist

Living with clinical depression is a challenge for anyone, but when you have been an incurable optimist all of your life, clinical depression is a curse! Even growing up in an abusive family, Sally had always believed that life would get better, “someday.” As an adult, mother of four she suddenly found herself void of that faith in life, and shackled to an unrelenting darkness that threatened her very will to live. Sally has lived with depression for much of her adult life and can speak to the challenge of hiding this perceived weakness from an unforgiving world – of finding the strength to finally ask for help, and to begin to forgive herself the weakness. She discovered that you don’t get clinical depression, just like cancer or heart disease, from being weak and you can’t cure it by being strong. Sally brings a humorous, informative insight into the misunderstood world of clinical depression.

Caring For Loved Ones Who Have The Audacity To Die Before You Do!

When her sister, El, learned she had a brain tumor that would probably take her life, she asked if Sally would come to California and care for her so she wouldn’t have to die in the hospital. Her first reaction was, “No!! I wouldn’t know what to do – I’m not a nurse – I might really hurt you!” But of course, she simply said, “Yes.” Living through this impossible situation helped Sally learn about life and death and strength and humor. Living with dying can really change your life in ways you would never imagine.

“The annual forecast of business strategies found that the key emerging trend was toward restructuring organizations toward self-management.”
